A video of the burning house circulated on social media, leading to confusion and speculation. However, the fire service confirmed that only the cinema room of the house was damaged.

The incident highlights the increasing number of fires in Ghana. According to the fire service, the Greater Accra Region experienced the highest number of fires in the first half of 2024, with over 700 cases reported.
