The Governor Of Benue State Samuel Ortom, has made tangible efforts in reconciling the abusive television reporter Mr. Pius Angbo and his wife Dr. Ifeayinwa Angbo.

The Governor stressed that, as young couples with great potentials, there was need for them to foster a strong union to serve as a model to others and as such should never result to abuse and violence as a resort to settling their differences.
Mr. Pius in a reaction said he had apologized to his wife and asked for forgiveness over his inhumane behavior and also beg the entire women folk to forgive him.

While his wife also said to have accepted her husband’s apology and have forgiven him, stressing on the tenderness of their children. She also thanked the Governor for his fatherly concern and demonstration of love to her family.
