The Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has expressed deep appreciation to President Bola Tinubu and others for their intervention in the health crisis of veteran Nollywood actor Zack Orji.

In a statement released on Saturday, AGN President Dr. Emeka Rollas specifically thanked President Tinubu for his “fatherly attention” to the creative industry. Rollas also commended First Lady Senator Oluremi Tinubu for her “motherly care” towards Orji, and President’s son Seyi Tinubu for his “unwavering support.”

The Minister for Women Affairs, Uju Kennedy-Ohanenye, was also recognized for her efforts in ensuring Orji’s recovery. Orji himself, according to the statement, is grateful to his longtime friend Ahmed Bala for his unwavering support throughout this ordeal.

“We have witnessed the unprecedented support that President Tinubu is giving to the creative industry,” Rollas said, praising Tinubu’s commitment to uplifting the sector. “We find it necessary to appreciate him.”

The AGN President further commended Minister Kennedy-Ohanenye and Orji’s friend Ahmed Bala for their vital roles in Orji’s recovery.
