Britney Spears seems to have responded to Justin Timberlake’s recent remarks with a cryptic Instagram post featuring a moon and a basketball hoop. 

In the caption, she addresses someone talking negatively about her and hints at a court confrontation. 

“Someone told me someone was talking s**t about me on the streets !!!” she began her caption. “Do you want me to bring it to the court or will you go home crying to your mom like you did last time ??? I’m not sorry !!!!” it read.

This follows Timberlake’s onstage declaration of not apologizing to anyone. 

The exchange comes amid Spears’ fans boosting her older song, “Selfish,” in response to Timberlake’s new track. 

Notably, the apparent dig coincides with the 20th anniversary of Timberlake and Janet Jackson’s Super Bowl halftime nip-slip incident. 

Timberlake celebrated his birthday with his wife Jessica Biel, who supports him amidst the ongoing attention from Britney’s fans.
