Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, known professionally as Tems, discussed the challenges of being in a relationship with her in a recent podcast interview.

Tems, who is not publicly known to be dating anyone, spoke with actress Chinasa Anukam on the ‘Is This Seat Taken’ podcast. Tems described her personality as complex, comparing herself to a rare flower that appears dark on the outside but holds beauty within. However, she also warned that this beauty comes with a challenge.

“Dating me is like stumbling upon a rare species of flower that looks black from the outside and when you open it, it has pink, purple but in the middle, there’s a stone,” Tems explained.

This is not the first time Tems has spoken openly about love. In a recent interview with YouTuber Korty EO, Tems expressed her belief that most men are only interested in the physical aspects of relationships.
