Popular Ugandan musician Shakib Lutaaya has publicly advised his wife, Zarinah Hassan (Zari), to take a cue from fellow singer Rehema Namakula (Rema). Lutaaya expressed his frustration with Zari’s frequent public outbursts and personal revelations about their marriage, suggesting that she could learn from Rema’s approach.

Despite having a child with former partner Eddy Kenzo, Rema has consistently maintained a respectful public demeanor towards him. Even after marrying Dr. Hamza Ssebunya, Rema has avoided public interactions with Kenzo and has skillfully navigated questions about their past relationship.

Lutaaya’s comments come amid heightened tensions between him and Zari, particularly following Zari’s recent reunion with Diamond Platnumz in South Africa. Shakib has publicly criticized Zari’s actions, expressing his belief that they were inappropriate for a married woman and disrespectful to him.

The musician has voiced his disappointment with Zari’s behavior, stating that it has repeatedly shown a lack of respect for him. He has also lamented the online ridicule he faces as a result of Zari’s public comments, which often portray him as financially dependent on her.
