Former Big Brother Naija winner, Josephina Otabor, known as Phyna, expressed a desire to be identified as a man despite being physically female, citing societal stereotypes against women. 

In a conversation with another BBNaija alumni, Tacha, on Cool FM Nigeria, Phyna cited a recent social media dispute with singer Davido, saying she was expected to cower because of his star power but would rather not. 

She further emphasized the importance of challenging societal expectations, stating that women deserve better treatment.
