Nigerian music star Burna Boy is taking on a new challenge in the film industry. He is set to executive produce the upcoming thriller “3 Cold Dishes” alongside production companies Ifind, Alma Productions, Asurf Films, Martian Network, and Black Mic Mac.

“3 Cold Dishes” tells the story of three women, Esosa, Fatouma, and Giselle, who are survivors of sex trafficking. Now powerful figures in the underground world, they seek revenge on the men who enslaved them.

Burna Boy will produce the film through Spaceship Films, his production company co-founded with his mother. The movie is directed by Asurf Oluseyi, an award-winning Nigerian filmmaker.

“3 Cold Dishes” promises to be a powerful story showcasing resilience and features a talented cast, including established Nollywood actors and rising stars from Ivory Coast and Senegal.

This project is part of a larger slate by Black Mic Mac, a production company dedicated to amplifying African voices in film and television.
