Madonna At Risk Of Getting Sued For Showing Up To Concert Two Hours Late

Madonna is facing legal action from two disgruntled ticketholders who accuse her of displaying a nonchalant attitude towards punctuality during her recent “Celebration Tour” concerts in Brooklyn.

The lawsuit, filed in New York, alleges false advertising and negligent misrepresentation as the singer consistently initiated performances after 10:30 pm instead of the advertised 8:30 pm.

The complaint highlights the inconvenience caused to concertgoers, who often left the venue after 1 am, facing limited transportation options and increased costs.

The proposed class action, encompassing Madonna’s entire US tour, seeks unspecified damages for those who believed the concerts would start promptly at the advertised time.

This is not the first time Madonna has faced legal repercussions for tardiness, as a similar lawsuit occurred during her 2019 “Madame X” theater tour.

The Brooklyn concerts, initially scheduled for July 2023, were rescheduled after Madonna’s hospitalization in June of the same year due to a bacterial infection.

Representatives for Madonna, Live Nation, and Barclays are yet to comment on the matter.
