US rapper Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing legal troubles as his former producer, Rodney Jones (Lil Rod), filed a 70-page lawsuit accusing him of pressuring artists, including Meek Mill, into engaging in non-consensual gay activities in exchange for Grammy nominations and awards. The lawsuit, filed in the Federal District Court in Manhattan, details allegations of sexual assault, drug dealing, and exploitation by Combs.

Lil Rod claims to have produced nine tracks for Diddy’s latest album, “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” yet was only paid $21,000 despite spending 13 months working on the project while residing in Diddy’s house. The producer alleges that he endured unwanted advances, including groping and exposure to explicit content, and was coerced into engaging in homosexual acts.

According to Lil Rod, Diddy promised him a Grammy win in the Producer of the Year category if he complied with the demands. The lawsuit also alleges that Diddy disclosed engaging in sexual activities with other prominent figures, including a rapper fitting Meek Mill’s description.

Diddy’s lawyer, Shawn Holley, dismissed Lil Rod’s claims as lies and an attempt to seek an undeserved payday. This legal battle follows previous allegations of sexual assault and rape against Diddy by his former record label signee and ex-girlfriend, Cassandra Ventura, which were settled amicably last year. Lil Rod is seeking $30 million in compensation for his work on the album and the alleged abuse suffered in Diddy’s home.

Diddy, whose career has spanned over 3 decades, has collaborated with a plethora of stars all over the world, including Nigeria’s own Burna Boy, executive-producing his Grammy-winning album “Twice As Tall”.
