Jon Stewart, renowned for steering “The Daily Show” with critical acclaim from 1999 to 2015, is making a triumphant return to the anchor desk on Monday nights until the 2024 elections, as declared by Comedy Central. 

Described as the voice of our generation, Stewart aims to navigate the country’s chaos and division during the election season, using his brilliant wit to pierce through empty rhetoric. 

His Emmy Award-winning legacy is marked by biting wit and astute political commentary. 

The remaining nights will see a rotation of correspondents taking the helm, including Jordan Klepper, Desi Lydic, Ronny Chieng, Michael Kosta, and Dulcé Sloan. 

After Trevor Noah’s tenure until 2022, the show grappled with guest hosts and a quest for a permanent replacement. 

Stewart, having recently parted ways with Apple TV+’s “The Problem With Jon Stewart” in October 2023, is set to rekindle “The Daily Show” on Feb. 12.
