Tragic incidents involving Gambian citizens based in Germany, these two separate situations implicate the German police of allegedly shooting and killing of 46 years old Lamin Touray, and the other case of Saihou Kanteh deported on the morning of Wednesday, March 13, 2024, along with sixteen other Gambian migrants on a Turkish Airline to Banjul.

This inhumane treatment has led to calls for the Gambian and German government to take action, Gambian citizens based in Germany and human right organization are protesting and requesting a proper investigation of both incidents.
