South African rapper Cassper Nyovest has shut down rumors circulating online about his alleged upcoming wedding. A supposed wedding invitation claiming he was marrying his childhood sweetheart Pulane went viral on social media, prompting Nyovest’s response.

Taking to Twitter on Saturday, the rapper expressed amusement at the situation, writing, “You’re inviting me to my own wedding? You created a date and venue? This is hectic!”

This news comes after Cassper recently opened up about his relationship status during a February podcast interview with Mpoomy Ledwaba. He revealed his two-year separation from his baby mama, Thobeka, attributing the breakup to his infidelity.

“I hurt my baby mama so much,” Cassper admitted. “We broke up because I hurt her. I’ve been single for two years, by the way.”

He went on to detail his past struggles with faithfulness, stating, “I was messing up. I did not have a female friend that I would just keep as a friend. Even in my mind, even if nothing happened. I was bad. I was really bad, and I didn’t realize how wrong it was.”

Cassper and Thobeka share a son, born in 2020. Although both maintain private lives, Cassper has publicly acknowledged Thobeka’s positive influence on his life.
