#Nigerians panics over the two weeks deadline given by NCC on sim registration with NIN.     

In sequel to the announcement made by the Nigerian communication commission on the deadline of two weeks given to all sim card suscribers to link their sim with a valid National Identification Number.

  Meanwhile, Nigerians has kicked against the two weeks deadline recently given by the NCC.

However, the House of Representatives have been delibrating on the matter while advising the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) to extend the given 2 weeks deadline in other for every single card suscribers to meet up with the excercise.

While deliberating on the issue, HON. Ndudi Elumelu, the minority  leader postulated this decision that the communications regulating body to consider the move to extend the deadline.

He further expressed that, the house agreed with the policy of linking SIM cards to NIN but also argued that it would be too cumbersome for Nigerians to meet the 2 weeks deadline,and he added that NCC should do well to extend 

the registration to February 28th.
