Kevin Hart Seeks Restraining Order Against Tasha K, Urging Removal Of Defamatory Video

Comedian Kevin Hart has taken legal action, requesting a temporary restraining order, aiming to compel blogger Tasha K to remove an interview video with his ex-assistant, Miesha Shakes.
Hart claims the video contains defamatory statements that are damaging to his reputation and career.
Court documents reveal that Tasha K allegedly demanded $250k in exchange for not posting the interview, leading Hart to involve law enforcement when he refused to pay.
Despite receiving a cease and desist, Tasha K proceeded to publish the interview. In response, Hart filed a lawsuit for civil extortion and defamation, emphasizing the impact on his family-oriented projects and endorsement deals.
A judge is yet to rule on Hart’s motion.
Rapper Cardi B is also pursuing a $4 million defamation judgment against Tasha K which was ruled in Cardi’s favor, with Tasha K expected to pay her that amount.
