“Ghana is in the building” This is how Ghana superstar Stonebwoy was announced on to the stage, for his duet performance with Nigerian megastar Davido aka OBO, they mesmerised their fans at the packed and sold-out o2 arena in London with their song “Activate”, on Saturday 5th March 2022. 

Davido then immediately after the song announced “today is my brother Stonebwoy’s birthday” and the crowd responded with thundering cheers, both guys hugged celebrating each other, Afrobeats and Africa is a winner.

We wonder how Shatta wale, who have in the recent past accused Nigerian music stars and the Afrobeats industry of not supporting Ghana musicians; would say next after seeing Davido and Stonebwoy shine on such a world stage?.
