Another Nigerian Politician Slumped Again

Maina, who is facing a 12-count charge of money laundering alongside his son, has continued to absent himself from trial, thereby stalling the case.
After refusing to show up for the continuation of his trial, Justice Okon Abang of the Federal High Court, Abuja, has issued a 21-day ultimatum to Senator Ali Ndume to produce Abdulrasheed Maina, former Chairman, Pension Reform Task Team, in court.
After much efforts, the money laundering suspects, appeared today, Thursday in court and collapsed before trial in the Federal High court Abuja.
Maina slumped down shortly after the court resumed proceedings in the 12 count charge the EFCC preferred against him and his firm, Common Input Property And Investment Limited.
Lawyers and officials of the Nigeria correctional services quickly rushed to his aid as usual the sitting was suspended.
He has now joined the colleagues who either faint or cry on trial.
