Daphne Joy, former partner of the renowned American rapper 50 Cent, has come forward with serious accusations against him, alleging rape and assault.

The claims emerged amidst reports of 50 Cent’s pursuit of sole custody of their son. This move came after Joy’s involvement in a lawsuit against Sean “Diddy” Combs, where she was named, accusing the media mogul of sex trafficking and abuse.

Joy, in a detailed Instagram post, criticized 50 Cent for neglecting their son, Sire, and accused him of rape and physical abuse during their relationship.

She expressed frustration over his lack of involvement in their son’s life despite living close by. Joy asserted that she could no longer maintain an image of him as a father figure to their son, condemning his alleged actions and entrusting justice to a higher power.

In response, 50 Cent swiftly denied Joy’s allegations through a statement issued by his representative. He suggested that Joy’s accusations were a retaliatory response to his decision to seek sole custody of their 12-year-old son, emphasizing that his priority was ensuring Sire’s safety. He clarified that his pursuit of sole custody was driven by the need to shield his son, especially in light of the lawsuit involving Joy.
