The Arise Fashion Week & Jazz Festival 2023 in Lagos Nigeria was a celebration of African fashion and cultural heritage, a display of the latest fashion designs by various designers and fashion houses. Mokudu Fall a Senegalese Artist and designer all the way from France, who fulfilled his lifelong dream of participating in top-class African fashion events, Nigerian, Milan-based Joy Ijeoma Meribe, Abasiekeme Ukanireh Éki Kéré fashion brand and others exhibited designs in Lagos.

The event was graced by the likes of International supermodel Naomi Campbell, who was among the models that catwalk at the event, American Jazz legend Herbie Hancock before his performance narrated how two weeks ago, he checked his DNA and the result came out 80% Nigeria.

It was a high-profile event that kickoff from the 2^nd to the 4^th of February, and it captured the attention of the international press and the fashion world. Nigerian superstar Wizkid; was the last musician to perform live to the attendees, but it was not as good as expected, not sure of what it is, but something was off and it lacks energy.
