Nollywood veteran Rita Dominic has been announced as the lead actress in the upcoming Ghanaian film “Two of a Kind.” The film is a collaboration between Ghanaian production company Sparrow Productions and Nigerian filmmakers and wrapped filming earlier this year.

“Two of a Kind” is written and directed by Shirley Frimpong-Manso, a renowned Ghanaian filmmaker known for her pan-African productions and focus on strong female characters. Frimpong-Manso has garnered a loyal following across the continent for films like “Rebecca “Shampaign” and “Love or Something Like That,” and has won prestigious awards such as Best Director at the Africa Movie Academy Awards and the AMVCAs.

Dominic brings her decades of experience and impressive filmography to the project. A household name in Nollywood, she has starred in over 100 films and won multiple awards, including the AMVCA for Best Actress in a Comedy and Drama/TV Series. The film also features a talented Ghanaian cast including Gloria Osei, Akrobeto Akwasi, Kojo Boakye, Adjetey Anang, and Jessica Larry.
