Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy has addressed recent speculation surrounding his latest album, “Up & Running.” The “Jejereje” hitmaker clarified his intentions during the album’s launch event in Accra.

Stonebwoy emphasized that his primary focus lies in creating music that resonates with his fans and brings them joy. He dismissed the notion that the Grammy Award was his sole motivation for releasing the album.

“God knows my heart,” Stonebwoy stated. “While a Grammy nomination would be a significant achievement, it’s not the driving force behind this album. I’m dedicated to serving my fans, not just chasing awards.”

He further explained that a potential Grammy nomination would serve as additional motivation to continue his artistic journey. “If the album qualifies, we’ll embrace it, but it’s not the sole purpose,” he affirmed.

The album launch event, held on October 23rd at Alora Beach Resort, was attended by numerous Ghanaian celebrities, including Kwaw Kese, Nana Ama McBrown, and Camidoh.

Stonebwoy’s “Up & Running” album, featuring the popular track “Jejereje,” is set to solidify his position as a leading figure in Ghana’s music industry, following the success of his previous award-winning album, “5th Dimension.”
