Popular Nigerian singer Paul Okoye, better known as Rudeboy, has reaffirmed his decision to split from his twin brother, Peter Okoye, of the P-Square duo.

The duo’s relationship has been strained for years, with public disagreements and accusations surfacing periodically. In a recent Instagram live session, Paul expressed frustration over what he perceived as an unequal distribution of work within the group.

Speaking in pidgin English, Paul stated, “Those days of monkey dey work, baboon dey chop, I no dey do again. So I would rather continue working for myself. Every time, only me dey sing all the songs. I no dey do again.”

The singer’s comments come after previous revelations about the complex nature of the rift between him and his brother. P-Square first split in 2017 before reuniting in November 2021. However, it seems that the tensions between the brothers have persisted, leading to Paul’s decision to pursue a solo career.
