Nigerian rapper Phyno has hit back at critics who slammed him for featuring convicted fraudster Hushpuppi on his recent album, “Full Time Job.”
The track, titled “Nwoke Esike,” features Hushpuppi sharing motivational quotes, which didn’t sit well with many fans. One critic on X, @Temmyt_Official, questioned the rapper’s decision, expressing confusion over the choice to include Hushpuppi.
Phyno, clearly irritated by the backlash, responded with a fiery retort, telling the critic to “go to sleep if you don’t understand the game.” He further compared the situation to potential collaborations with other high-profile figures like Young Thug or El Chapo.
The collaboration marks a surprising turn of events, considering the past feud between Phyno and Hushpuppi. In 2017, the two clashed online after Phyno advised Hushpuppi to tone down his extravagant lifestyle. However, it seems that time has healed old wounds, and the two have now joined forces.
