Rema Claims Nigerian Parents Don’t Scold Breadwinning Children.

Musical artist Rema has asserted that Nigerian parents tend to be less strict with their children who are financial providers for the family.
During a recent conversation with content creator Enzo, Rema advised him to get a tattoo, but Enzo expressed concern about his mother’s disapproval, recalling how she gave him the silent treatment for days after he got braids.
In response, Rema encouraged Enzo to work harder and earn more, suggesting that Nigerian parents are more lenient with children who contribute financially to the household. “Don’t worry, you just need to hustle a little bit more. Wait till you cash out big. Nigerian parents don’t advise breadwinners,” Rema stated.
Rema himself has previously shared that he became the breadwinner for his family at a young age following the death of his father, revealing that he gave his mother his first million at the age of 17.
