Former Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Omowunmi Akinnifesi, has publicly shared her decision to remain a virgin.

In a recent YouTube video, Akinnifesi revealed that she chose to “stand apart proudly, boldly, and with faith” by maintaining her virginity. She explained that she made a covenant with God at the age of 18 to remain pure and has since dedicated herself to this path.  

Akinnifesi acknowledged the challenges she faced, including feelings of shame and embarrassment. “Because I have kept myself, I walked in shame for a very long time. I was actually very ashamed of it,” she confessed.  

She further explained that her decision to remain celibate was a personal choice and that she lacked proper guidance and support during her journey.

This revelation has sparked conversation about societal expectations and the pressure women face regarding sexuality.
