Radio host Anele Mdoda and her husband, Bonelela Buzza James, celebrated their union in a private traditional Xhosa wedding this past weekend. While details of the intimate ceremony were initially shared online by a friend before being removed, James has since penned a touching tribute to his new wife on Instagram.

In his heartfelt post, James expressed his gratitude, writing in Xhosa and English, “Ndiyabulela Thixo Onamandla Onke (Thank you to the Almighty). Ndandithandaza – wandiphendula (I prayed and he answered). Hayi nje ngemfesane, kodwa ngowona mfazi omhle unobubele, noxolo, nothando emhlabeni (He answered me with a beautiful wife who’s humble, peaceful and loving in the world). Ndithi bayethe kuwe MaMfene (I praise you MaMfene).”

He continued, poignantly declaring, “Nguye intliziyo yam eyayimlindile lonke elixesha sizichoymie (You are who my heart has been waiting for all this time). Nguye isithembiso sakho esiphilayo (You are my living promise). Ndithi haleluya, mayibongwe iNkosi! (I say hallelujah, praise the Lord) Uthando lwam lusuka kuwe Bawo. Ndi bulela nobawomkhulu ngolandela uKrestu,” expressing his deep love and faith.

According to online sources, Bonelela Buzza James is reportedly a Xhosa prince and a lawyer from the Abathembu tribe. Actress Masasa Mbangeni responded to his post with congratulations and admiration for Anele’s beauty. Anele Mdoda, known for keeping her personal life private, has only recently shared a single image from her wedding and reposted content from her special day.
