Wendy Shay Reflects on Breakup, Credits it for Career Success.

Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay revealed that ending her relationship was the best decision she ever made, leading to a significant boost in her career. In an interview with Empress Gifty on the “U Cook” show, Wendy Shay shared that the heartbreak inspired some of her hit songs.

“I am free now and I think it is one of the best decisions I took. Sometimes it is good to leave some people. I make a lot of money now and I am now a global artiste,” she stated. Wendy Shay highlighted her growing popularity in South Africa and other regions, attributing her success to her focus on music post-breakup.

The Ruff Town Records artist admitted that her relationship affected her work, and the breakup, despite being painful, proved beneficial. She also addressed rumors about a diss track aimed at her manager, Bullet, following a contractual disagreement. Wendy Shay clarified that the song “Who Cares” coincided with their dispute but was not specifically targeting him.

Wendy Shay’s recent releases, including a song about her best friend betraying her, reflect her emotional journey and resilience.
