Nigerian singer Iyanya Onoyom Mbuk, known professionally as Iyanya, has yet to address cheating allegations made by his ex-girlfriend, Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson, in her memoir published last year.

Nelson claimed in “I am Not Yvonne Nelson” that Tonto Dikeh, another actress, frequently visited and sometimes stayed overnight at Iyanya’s residence during their relationship.

Despite initially promising a response, Iyanya recently declined to comment on the allegations during an interview with Beat 99.9 FM, Lagos.

“I know I promised to address the allegations,” he admitted, “but I’m not ready to respond. I’m not going to respond to stuff like that, being me comes with a lot of madness.”

Interestingly, Iyanya also revealed he endorsed Nelson’s book without realizing he was mentioned. “We were cool, we still talk to this day,” he said.

However, he hasn’t read the book and remains silent on the specific allegations.

Fans continue to wonder when or if Iyanya will finally address the cheating claims and clear his name.
