Tanzanian music stars Zuchu and Diamond Platnumz have announced their breakup after a three-year relationship.

The ‘Honey’ hitmaker confirmed the news on social media, stating that the decision was mutual and amicable. Despite the split, the two artists will continue to collaborate on upcoming projects.

“After three years of dating, Nasib [Diamond’s real name] and I have mutually decided to call it quits,” Zuchu wrote. “This was a positive, mutual decision, and we remain on good terms. We still have an upcoming project together, so don’t be surprised when it’s released. I wish Simba [Diamond] all the best, and I ask my dear fans for your continued positive support. My main focus now is on healing and advancing my career.”

The announcement comes shortly after Diamond’s mother, Mama Dangote, shared her expectations for her son’s future wife. Mama Dangote expressed her desire for Diamond to find a partner who values family and supports family gatherings. While she didn’t explicitly mention Zuchu, her comments sparked speculation about the couple’s relationship.
