Bobrisky Released From Prison, Warns Against Naira Spraying.

Controversial crossdresser, Idris Okuneye, popularly known as Bobrisky, has regained his freedom after serving a four-month prison sentence for naira abuse. The socialite was convicted by a Lagos Federal High Court in April for spraying and flaunting wads of new naira notes at a public event.

Speaking shortly after his release, Bobrisky cautioned Nigerians against the act of spraying money, emphasizing the potential legal consequences. He stressed that such seemingly harmless actions could lead to imprisonment. The crossdresser expressed gratitude to friends who stood by him during his ordeal.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) had arrested Bobrisky in April following reports of his naira abuse. The crossdresser pleaded guilty to charges brought against him and was subsequently sentenced to six months imprisonment.

Bobrisky’s legal team had filed an appeal against the sentence, seeking a lesser punishment. However, the outcome of the appeal is yet to be determined.
