In a recent TikTok live session hosted by comedian Kabata, Ugandan musician Gravity Omutujju firmly declared his self-reliance in the music industry, emphasizing that he doesn’t require Bobi Wine’s endorsement for success.

Dismissing the notion that Wine’s association guarantees musical triumph, Omutujju highlighted the need for Wine to extend support to his fellow artists, including those within his own record label, Firebase.

Despite acknowledging their previous collaboration on the politically inspired track “Batujoozenyo,” tensions between the two artists have been palpable, with Omutujju expressing discontent over Wine’s failure to promote the song.

While maintaining a cordial stance towards Wine, Omutujju underscored his resilience and longevity in the industry, underscoring his 13-year tenure as evidence of his enduring presence.
