Nigerian radio personality Nedu Wazobia has announced his departure from the popular podcast “The Honest Bunch” following a recent controversy.  

The drama unfolded after Deeone, a guest on the podcast, made allegations against fellow guest Verydarkman. Instead of addressing the claims directly, Verydarkman launched a counterattack, revealing private information about Nedu and making accusations against him.  

This led to a significant backlash against Nedu, prompting him to step down from the show. In his statement, Nedu expressed his frustration with the “overwhelming level of scrutiny, antagonism, and unfounded accusations” he has faced.

“In light of recent events, I have made the difficult decision to step away from the podcast,” Nedu wrote. “This is not a decision I take lightly, but one I believe is necessary for my peace of mind, for my family, and for the integrity of the show itself.”

Nedu emphasized his commitment to honest conversations but acknowledged that the current situation had become detrimental to his well-being and the integrity of the show.
