Ghanaian musician Mzbel and fashion critic Charlie Dior have reacted strongly to the news of Apostle Solomon Oduro’s divorce from his wife, Rev. Charlotte Oduro.

The couple, known for their marriage counseling ministry, announced their separation on February 10, 2025, after three years of living apart. This revelation has drawn widespread criticism, with many questioning the credibility of their marital advice.

Mzbel took to social media to express her disbelief, writing, “When the marriage counsellor’s marriage is not marriaging… lol.”

Fashion critic Charlie Dior echoed similar sentiments, criticizing the one-sided nature of Reverend Oduro’s teachings. “I really dislike how she speaks with such authority about what women need to do in marriage, as if there’s a one-size-fits-all formula,” Dior stated. “It’s always about how women should behave, what they should tolerate, and how they should cater to their husbands, but there’s barely any accountability or guidance directed at men.” Dior argued that these teachings perpetuate outdated gender roles and place undue pressure on women.
