Mr. P’s Management Denies Sabotaging Darkoo’s Song.

Mr. P's Management Denies Sabotaging Darkoo's Song.

One Management, representing Nigerian singer Mr. P, has vehemently denied claims made by British-Ghanaian artist Darkoo that he sabotaged her recent single, which sampled the P-Square hit “Gimme Dat.”

Darkoo had accused Mr. P of interfering with the song’s release and attempting to secure a feature on the remix. However, One Management refuted these claims, stating that Mr. P only sought to ensure that all members of the former P-Square duo were properly compensated and credited for the use of their song.

The management company emphasized that Darkoo initially approached them for assistance when she encountered issues with the song’s release, highlighting the inconsistency in her accusations. They further clarified that the proposed 50/50 revenue split was not initiated by Mr. P but by the entity Darkoo initially approached for rights clearance.

One Management concluded by stating that Darkoo’s accusations were “malicious” and an attempt to capitalize on the P-Square feud for publicity.
