Black Sherif Brushes Off Shatta Wale Feud as “Irrelevant”.
Ghanaian musician Black Sherif has dismissed the recent online feud with dancehall star Shatta Wale.
The conflict reportedly began in October when Shatta Wale criticized Black Sherif’s fashion choices. In response, Black Sherif shared a post on Snapchat that many interpreted as a diss towards Shatta Wale.
However, Black Sherif has downplayed the significance of the incident. During an interview with City FM, he stated, “The kind of attention I’m supposed to give that thing is pretty irrelevant in my world. You have to care about something to let it bother you, but for this, I don’t care.” He emphasized that the online frenzy was largely driven by fans and that he doesn’t consider Shatta Wale a rival.
Black Sherif has maintained that his post was not intended to be disrespectful and that he chooses not to dwell on the controversy.
