Ugandan musician Victor Kamenyo has confirmed his separation from partner Ruth Akoragye.

The couple had been the subject of speculation for weeks, with cryptic posts and hints on social media fueling rumors of trouble. Kamenyo finally addressed the situation, revealing that the relationship ended after Akoragye informed him that she could no longer continue.

“I loved and prayed for my woman, but she left me and went her way,” Kamenyo explained. He acknowledged noticing “red flags” in their relationship and recalled a morning when Akoragye expressed exhaustion and suggested they part ways.

While the breakup has been difficult, Kamenyo seems to be moving forward. He has hinted at exploring new romantic possibilities, stating, “I am now also looking… If a woman comes along, I will take her in as a brand new lover.”

Akoragye has also been vocal on social media, emphasizing that she will not tolerate cheating and expressing no regrets about the separation.
