German police are investigating one of its political parties, Alternative for Germany (AfD) mock plane tickets sent to post boxes of people with migrant background, the incident was reported to be happening in the German city of Karlsruhe, at the moment it is not clear if other cities have reported any of such cases.

The flyers look like dummy tickets with a QR code, which when scanned leads to the website of AfD Karlsruhe. Boldly printed on the ticket “Germany” to a “safe country of origin” a one-way ticket, with date of departure Sunday 23 February 2025, the exact date of the German federal election.

These same tactics have once been tried by the National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD), which is now a banned political party in Germany, this is history repeating itself and busted by far-right activities happening in USA politics; after the election of Donald Trump and Elon Musk Nazi salute at Trump’s inauguration.

The situation is worrying for Germans with migrant background, especially for the Afro-Germans as they can be easily singled out because of their skin color, such activities create a sense of insecurity as the AfD gains in the election polls.
