Nigerian singer Ruger has revealed the secret behind his frequent bookings compared to his peers. He insists that while hit songs are essential, they aren’t the sole determinant of a successful performance.

Ruger believes that a captivating stage presence is equally important. He emphasizes the need to engage the audience with personality and charisma, rather than just relying on the music.

The singer shared his thoughts on social media: “Let me explain to you why I get booked so much. I don’t come on stage to sing (of which I know l’m so good at) I bring my whole fucking personality on stage it’s not a joke. It’s not by having hit songs you can have a million hit songs and still be clueless on stage at a 200-capacity venue.”
