Shatta Wale, a known admirer of Vybz Kartel, declared his intention to visit the Jamaican artiste and celebrate his newfound freedom. He also criticized Ghanaian musicians who celebrated Kartel’s release without previously showing support for him.

Meanwhile, Vybz Kartel, whose real name is Adidja Palmer, has finally regained his freedom after spending 13 years behind bars. The controversial artiste was convicted in 2014 for the murder of Clive ‘Lizard’ Williams, a case that gripped the world.

However, a recent ruling by the Privy Council overturned the conviction, citing juror misconduct. The decision brought an end to a long legal battle and marked a significant victory for the dancehall icon.
