Germany will be conducting an early election on Sunday 23 February 2025, after the breakdown of the coalition government of Chancellor Olaf Scholz, due to irreconcilable differences with his finance minister Christian Lindner, the crisis led to the Chancellor sacking his finance minister, and then called for a vote of no confidence which he lost, now the German political parties are buckling up for a premature election.
