Ugandan singer Alien Skin, known for his controversial antics, has been apprehended by the police following a violent incident at Nsambya Hospital.

The arrest stems from a tragic event on November 19, 2024, when 28-year-old Joram Tumwesigye was rushed to the hospital but later pronounced dead. Tensions escalated when Skin and his Fangone squad allegedly demanded medical forms aggressively, leading to a confrontation with hospital staff.

“When their demands were not met, the suspect and his group reportedly assaulted the doctor and two security guards before fleeing the scene,” said ASP Luke Owoyesigyire, Deputy Public Relations Officer for Kampala Metropolitan Police. Videos circulating on social media show the group behaving aggressively towards hospital staff.

While Skin claims hospital negligence led to Tumwesigye’s death, many social media users have condemned his actions and called for justice. The police are investigating the incident and have charged Skin with potential murder and assault.
