Nigerian music mogul, Don Jazzy, has come clean about his marital status, revealing that he remains single at the age of 41. In a recent social media post, the producer candidly attributed his singleness to his “ashawo” lifestyle.

The revelation came in response to a tweet accusing Don Jazzy of following a large number of “baddies” on Instagram. The user, @Ugbede_ wrote, “Once you open any baddies page on Instagram the first thing you’ll see is ‘followed by don jazzy’. That man is everywhere.”

Don Jazzy, not shying away from the accusation, admitted to being an “ashawo” and linked this to his inability to settle down. He wrote “I be ashawo na. Na why I never marry.” confirming his single status.

When a fan questioned him about his reasons for remaining unmarried, Don Jazzy explained that he was working on himself to ensure that his future partner would enjoy his company.

It’s worth noting that Don Jazzy has previously opened up about his past marriage to American model, Michelle Jackson. The couple tied the knot in 2003 but divorced two years later. Last year, the Mavin boss also addressed rumors that he was secretly married with children, dismissing them as false.
