Popular Nigerian rapper Falz has opened up about his apprehensions regarding marriage. In a recent episode of the Unpack podcast, Falz shared his uncertainties about what an ideal marriage would entail, especially given his celebrity status.

Falz revealed that he is still contemplating whether to publicize his future marital life or keep it private. The rapper expressed his concerns, saying that as an artist in the public eye, navigating a relationship is challenging. He questioned whether a public or private approach would be best, noting the difficulties in balancing fame with a healthy family life.

“I’m not married. I have been single for a while now. Maybe I should just try marriage. I don’t know the ideal relationship. Maybe that is one of the reasons I am not bothered to try. When I say I am bothered, I don’t know what the ideal setup would look like,” Falz stated.

He continued, “Being an artiste, being in the public eye, is it going to be public or coded? Or do you want to come out as a famous couple? I think these things are difficult to navigate. This is one of the biggest reasons entertainers do not get to have healthy family life. It is tough. It will always come out one way or the other. I might do it and run it coded.”

In 2022, Falz admitted he had never been in love, highlighting his ongoing contemplation about relationships and marriage.
