Grammy-winning singer Adele is stepping away from music for a while. The powerhouse vocalist revealed her plans to take a break from recording and performing after her current residencies conclude.
Adele, known for hits like “Hello” and “Rolling in the Deep,” shared the news during an interview with German broadcaster ZDF. She explained her desire to explore new creative avenues after wrapping up her commitments in Las Vegas and Munich. “My tank is quite empty,” she admitted.
Fans eagerly awaiting new music will have to wait a while. Adele emphasized her need for a break, stating, “I don’t have any plans for new music at all. I want a big break, and I think I want to do other creative things just for a little while.”
This news comes after the immense success of her latest album, “30,” released in 2021. The critically acclaimed record garnered critical acclaim, winning the prestigious British Album of the Year award at the 2022 Brit Awards.
