Jussie Smollet Groomed Me: US-Based Nigerian Abimbola Osundairo Reveals.
In a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, professional boxer Abimbola Osundairo detailed the origin of the plan orchestrated by actor Jussie Smollett. Contrary to public perception, the boxer revealed that Smollett had asked him and his brother to stage the attack, claiming it was part of a grooming process.
The narrative unfolded with an incident at Smollett’s residence, where he allegedly tried to persuade the boxer to accept the services of a male masseuse, a proposition promptly declined due to suspicions. The boxer emphasized his refusal, noting that he saw through potential ulterior motives.
Recalling the assault incident, the boxer described the confusing nature of Smollett’s request. Despite their years of friendship, Smollett randomly asked him to beat him up during a car ride, a perplexing proposition that initially seemed drug-induced. The actor then revealed he needed assistance and asked if the boxer’s brother would participate, leading to the swift but unplanned execution of the staged attack on January 29th.
While Smollett never explicitly disclosed the reason for the fake attack, he referenced a threatening letter containing slurs and death threats. The boxer expressed frustration with the movie studio’s inadequate response to the threats.
When questioned about his agreement to the setup, the boxer explained that he and his brother, being professional actors and boxers, saw it as an opportunity to advance in the industry by associating with Smollett.
In 2021, Smollett faced charges of disorderly conduct and a false crime report, resulting in a Class 4 felony with a potential prison sentence of up to three years and a $25,000 fine. A jury deliberated for over nine hours before reaching this decision.
