The 10th edition of the annual Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA) took place yesterday, May 11, 2024, in Lagos, and it was an extraordinary night! The event was graced by some of the most prominent actors, actresses, public figures, and media personalities in Africa’s entertainment industry.

The red carpet at the AMVCA always showcases some of the most captivating outfits, and this year was no exception. Everyone brought their A-game, making it a truly exceptional sight. While everyone looked stunning, here are some of our favorite looks from the AMVCA 2024 red carpet:

Kehinde Bankole did her big one, she won the “Best Lead Actress”  from the movie Adire.

Osas Ighodaro ate and left no crumbs, this look was Met Gala-worthy. Shout out to Veekee James for this artistry.

Elozonam gave celestial being vibes. Everything about the look banged!!!

I am a big Funke Akindele fan when I say she gave simple Mother vibes, with minimal embellishments. She has carved her name in the sands of time so that she doesn’t have to win an AMVCA to slay!

Nana Adua always serves fashion at every red carpet event. I’m not surprised. The look was magnificent!!

Oh, Idia Aisian, you are who you say you are!!!!

No neck in sight and yet you still manage to leave us speechless. Clap!! Clap!! Clap!!

Adunni Ade, the queen that you are!!! Everything about this look gave English Royalty.

Laura Ikeji did her big one too, it gave “mother dem all” vibes.

Saga Deolu decided to strut in pink and gave us premium Ken vibes!!! I love it!!!

Chimezie Imo won the Trail Blazers award and I’m more than happy for him. This red dripping in blood-like pearl was something we needed to drool on. Well done!!!!
