#Buhari approved the reopening of Four land borders. 

President Muhammad Buhari has ordered the immediate reopening of four land borders. This was approved following the procedures through Federal Executive Council (FEC) to make sure that decision on the reopening of four land borders with immediate effect shall definitely come to stay. while looking forward to give an approlval on the reopening of others in a susbsequent time.

However, Mrs Zainab Ahmed,The Minister of Finance Budget and National Planning, disclosed this after the week’s virtual FEC meeting, which she also stated that, restriction on the importation of some commodities, like rice and other products, would continue to be enforced. The borders opened for now include Seme Border in the Southwest, Ilela Border in the Northwest, Mfun Border in the Southsouth and Maigatari Border in the Northwest.

Which she also added that the entre points will be opened on the 31st December, 2020.
