Sho Madjozi Next Album Will Be Her Final Album.
South African musician Sho Madjozi has stunned fans with the news that her upcoming album will be her last.
The award-winning artist took to social media to announce the release of the lead single for her third and final album, “Limpopo Champions League Vol. 2.”
In an interview with SABC News, Sho Madjozi explained her decision, stating, “There’s quite a lot of reasons, I think the main one is that I feel that I have said everything I feel like I needed to say through music.”
She added, “I said a lot I’ve done a lot about culture, about language, about air, about you know, being able to be a woman without necessarily being hypersexualized and all those are all points I wanted to make and I made them and I think I made them very well.”
While Sho Madjozi is bidding farewell to her music career, she is excited to explore other passions, such as documentary filmmaking. She has secured funding from National Geographic to pursue this new venture.
Despite this, fans can still look forward to her upcoming music video for the song “Ndirine,” featuring Makhadzi and Gatsheni.
