Big Brother Naija star Phyna has taken a drastic step, publicly disowning her family and dropping her surname, Otabor.

In a series of emotional posts on social media, Phyna revealed that she has been struggling to uncover the truth about her origins. She claimed that she was tossed around different relative homes as a child and that her family disowned her.

“I am publicly dropping my family surname OTABOR…it has been proven that I have no family and nobody knows how I came about,” she wrote.

This revelation comes after a public dispute with her father, Felix Otabor, who claimed she abandoned the family following her BBNaija win. Phyna responded by accusing her parents of denying her parental love and acknowledging her feelings of being an orphan.
