Renowned songstress Tiwa Savage recently experienced a distressing event as she fell victim to a robbery during her stay in the United Kingdom, a revelation she shared on her Instagram story last Thursday. Although the details surrounding the incident remain scant, the star conveyed her anguish over the unfortunate occurrence, expressing, “Damn London, una show me pepper o. Got robbed yesterday”.

This incident unfolded shortly after Tiwa Savage lodged a formal complaint with the police against her fellow music artist, Davido. 

The friction between them started when they mutually unfollowed each other on Instagram over the weekend, sparking speculations that Davido severed ties due to Tiwa’s association with his estranged baby mama, Sophia Momodu, with whom he is currently not on amicable terms.

The situation escalated when Tiwa Savage’s ex-husband, Tee Billz, issued a stern warning to Davido for “disrespecting his family.” 

In her petition dated January 9 and addressed to the Lagos Commissioner of Police, Tiwa recounted an Instagram story post from December 23 featuring herself and Sophia Momodu. Alleging that Davido posed a “direct threat to my rights to life, privacy, and dignity of my person,” she sought legal intervention.

Ironically, Davido has also experienced the harrowing ordeal of being robbed abroad, having been attacked in South Africa, resulting in the loss of substantial amounts and valuable jewelry.
